Joanna Rouse – Patient Coordinator

Joanna grew up in Stone County and is a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She has been working in the dental profession since 2005. She has worked in all areas of the dental profession and loves taking care of people.

In her free time, she is passionate about spending time with her 2 grandchildren, Tanner and Kylie, her 3 daughters and her husband, Kevin. She and her family enjoy the outdoors, boating, fishing and living in the country.

Kim Fortenberry – Dental Hygienist

Kim is a native of Gulfport. She graduated from the Univerisity of Alabama at Birmingham with her degree in Dental Hygiene is 1995. She has worked in various dental offices since graduation and has been the primary dental hygienist at Segraves Dental and now Pure Smiles Dental since 2002.

When not treating her patients, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, shopping and going to the beach.

Erica McCarty – Dental Hygienist

Erica grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and recently moved to Gulfport with her husband, Kirk.  She attended USM and graduated from Pearl River Community College Dental Hygiene program.  When she is not treating her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors and caring for her two cats, Emmett and Leo.

Synthia Walker – Lead Chairside Assistant

Synthia is a lifelong resident of Stone County. She has been a dental assistant on the Gulf Coast since 1993 and here as lead dental assistant since 1999. Synthia enjoys her profession and loves to take care of her patients.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and the outdoors.
